Intel CPU's are generally a little more expensive. So if you want same performance as from the AMD you have to pay a little more.

AMD is wayyy better than intel. Well, dont get me wrong, Intel processor is great, but it doesnt do the job like AMD does. Intel consumes less battery life, but who cares? just 20 to 40 more min. doesnt mean much compared to performance

It's not a problem of quality or performance when it comes to commercial rights to survive in a market. You can compensate low battery life with lower price than competitors but using dirty tricks to keep a competitor out of the market is against every country' law. That's it!
