@epmelodygirl I don't know if it's true (who will ever know) but I read that Elvis wanted a girl who would be the "stay at home type" (and this really sounds like Elvis) and Ann-Margaret wanted a "career" and this went against what Elvis wanted and this is why he chose Priscilla. If only he had known this would be his undoing!

@zujo1 It depends on the legal age of consent. In my state the legal age of consent is 16 years old. No child under the age of 16 can legally consent to sex with an adult. Whether they agree to it or not. That is what statutory rape means. And I agree. Hell would freeze over before I ever sent my 16 year old across the world to live with a man-the biggest sex symbol in the world at that. I would have the bastard put it jail first.

And there is something wrong with a 32 year old man that is sexually attracted to a child, that is called pedophilia. Whether they are still together is irrelevant. @cobalt100 What "rapist"! She agreed to do so, didn't she. It wasn't like he was pointing a gun in her head, to be with him- she did it all at her free will! And her parents saw a great deal in that- and took a chance. I would never allow my 14 years old daughter to live with a mature man like Elvis was at a time.If I would do so, even now in 21st century , I would be pointed as a child molester.
