Solar HM - Champion Imported Lusitano Stallion

In October 2005, in Forth Worth, Texas, Solar HM presented in hand and under saddle by his trainer, Jorge Gabriel, won the 2005 IALHA National Championship for Lusitano Stallions 6 years and over. Solar was also awarded the Medal for Best Movement and the Perpetual National Championship Vintage Iberia Grande Campeao Lusitano Trophy as the high scoring Lusitano at the National Championship Show. At the 2005 New England Dressage Association Fall show in Saugerties, New York, Solar HM was Champion in the Andalusian Sport Horse Breed Division and also earned his championship qualifying scores in open dressage competition. Prior to his move to Casa Lusitana, Solar HM was the most awarded PSL Stallion of this decade in Brasil: the National Champion of his age group for the first four years of his career. Since his first appearance in 2000, Solar was awarded Gold Medals - the prize for the horses that most exemplify the true morphological characteristics of the Lusitano - in every show he has participated.

Solar HM is a son of Paragrafo do TOP and Nena do RT.

no, thid horse is a portuguese breed, the breeds name is "lusitano", wich is named after the territory where portugal was founded wich is "lusitanea", over eight centuries ago!! i trully dont disrespect you comment. it happens! but if you like horses that much, spend some time studying the "lusitano", i am sure you will admire very much!

i am proudly portuguese, and this breed is one of the things that make our legacy valuable and unique. ;)

@forcadelta5 You are completly wrong. Alter Real is a subtype of Lusitano, some times it is not even considered Lusitano, it's a kind of it's own, not to mention that Alter Real was established much later than the Lusitano. Also Alter Real rarely is other thing than Brown, which obviously this one is not. I don't know from where you are, I assume you're american, so i just advise you, to read in portuguese sources, because most of what you will find is brazilian and almost always inaccurate.

A portuguese proud this horse! The true Lusitano is the Alter Real and are from the "Coudelaria de Alter", land of Alter do Chão, Alentejo, Portugal, there is the pure race of this horses.
