Th defenition of "running" an operation system means that you actually boot it and that it would use the device's RAM. You are connecting to a remote computer which runs on its own and shares desktop with you. Well made video though :)

Good idea if your worried about security while gone from home--access the webcam from across the country and see if anything is happening! Or maybe distrustful parents to spy on their child.
