@mikethebandit Shakespeare may have been dead but his work is not.

I don't understand how this video made it to a bunch of movie critiques.
just ignore them, what do they know?
it's actually harder than it looks to make a legit hamlet scene, i just made a parody so i wouldn't have to worry about it not being good enough, although this is very good, better than every other scene i've seen.

the hell happened to the monologue? it was why i watced this

A little advice... If YOU know it was rushed and not made to "impress the world", and you simply cannot take outside comments from people who took THEIR time to watch YOUR film and leave detailed comments, however critical they may be, then just keep it safely tucked away in your external hard-drive in your dorm room. You're posting on You Tube for God's sakes! haha.. you're no professional.. take the criticism and learn form it.

Bravo, you successfully made a really shit scene. Although I am impressed how you managed to get Liam Lynch to play Hamlet.
"How Now? A rat? Dead for a ducat, dead!" That bit was truly and utterly,
fucking awful.
And nice murder, very believeable.

& why shud it matter if he's been dead 400years? Christs been dead for 1980 years. Christians would still be offended if he wasn't treated with repect. Franklin & Jefferson for 200 odd, but Im sure an American gent like yourself would be very offended if somebody didnt treat their memory with the appropriate respect.

Ah now, dont get me wrong Mr Bandit. I found it hilarious. My friends and I haven't laughed so much in a long time. However, I really don't think that that was the point. Granted you had minimal time, but would it have killed you to have learnt the text's meaning? I just cant help but think that this video should be put in room 101 & left there.
This is really bloody awful. Hamlet has been butchered so many times, but I honestly hope this is the bottom of the mire. It's so bad it almost looks like a spoof of a bad student film. The actors should have learnt what the lines meant and the director should have seen a half decent production of the play first. That way, there would be no woodeness, there would have been no embarrassing prat-fall murder, and no cliched candle-holding spectre. Thank God for David Tennant!

You take yourself much more seriously than we did, Sir. Sometimes you have 4 hours to make a video for a 101 class and you aren't trying to impress the world. Shakespeare's been dead for 400 years - get over it.
And I think the candle part is funny.
