Brandon Routh should be the new modern day Superman...Know he will fit this part better than anyone else at this time....He has the looks and has experience in acting in previous movie of Superman....Not understanding why they not choose him...

Sometimes, it's not about the actors. Like what @LostNbound said, it's about the story or the scripts. It's also about the director or the writer. Take a look at the movie 'The Happening'. Mark Wahlberg isn't exactly a bad actor but he sure did act like one because of the bad and shitty director (M. Night Shyamalan).

@Ahil982 an actor is only as good as the director and script lets him be. I'm not saying he's the only person who could ever be supes and Chris, but bryan singer is a shit director who wants to make comic kiddy movies. i'm just saying Brandon got a bad wrap for the movie, but if he'd had a good scrpit, not just some hack bullshit of the orginal superman movie, and a good director the movie as a whole would've been epic with him as superman. and no kate bosworth either.
