Whoever was running it had a steady hand to keep activating for exactly the same length of time, over and over again without any apparent variation in the length of time of each cycle.

LAFD 9's is a heavy duty task force. The only one in the city.

Taskforce, lightforce is what LAFD uses. They have 49 TF stations throughout the city. LA City use to have heavy duty task force stations not anymore. A heavy duty task force was a fully staff truck with 5 members a fully staff Engine with 4 members and fully staff 200 series engine with 4 members. Because of budget, manpower has been reduce over the yrs. A task force in today's fire department consist of 6 member light force and a 4 member engine.

I understand a LA county " Light Task Force" But is there a "Heavy Task Force" ? If so, what does it consist of?
