The only part of this movie that bothered me was how Doc Ock reasoned that he had to rob banks to buy the parts for a larger version of the machine... Why didn't he just steal the parts and cut out the middle man?

Any real Spider-Man fan knows that these films don't do a shred of justice for Peter Parker's story. They are decent films in perspective of public enjoyment and movie going experiences, but as far as it's comic book roots go, it doesn't have a bit of integrity.

@modernway91 With superhero movies, the first sequel is often better than the original.
Examples: Spider Man, X-Men, Batman, Fantastic Four.

@moviebuffreviews lol have you watched this movie latley?the acting is on soap oprah level,the movie has some extreamly goofy moments and tobey maguire is horribal as peter parker,i honeslty dont understand why this film was considered one of the best superhero films of its time when X2: X Men United was a far better film,this movie doesnt even come close to being as good as the dark knight

That Spider-Man 2 had more emotional characters than just Harvey Dent and Bruce. In spiders film, all of the characters express some kind of emotion, from Peter in hope, to Aunt May in forgiveness and redemption, Harry in terms of trying to let go of the past (at the end), MJ about hope and understanding. The Dark Knight is still an excellent film, but not as good as Spider-Man 2.
