Inspired by a film made up of deteriorating film pieces, I finally decided use one of my favorite pieces of distressed film, an anonymously shot home movie of a carnival from the 1960s ("Decomposied Carnival" http://www.archive.org/details/homemovie_decomposed_carnival ), and paired it with Man Ray's "Le Retour a la Raison" (1923). I then took the footage and applied a number of different visual effects to further abstract and distress the footage.
The resulting footage was paired with Nine Inch Nails' "Corana Radiata" (cc 2008). For downloads and more info, visit http://wbwolf.masemware.com
