@tutanga14 - I currently ride an XT225 which is pretty comparable to your KLX250. The 250 size bikes are great bikes, but most people quickly outgrow them especially when trying to do any highway riding. I was looking at the Versys as well, and I think it would be a great choice for you if you like your current bike and just want more power. Of course the Versys is way more street oriented, but it has a similar upright ride and has gobs of power. If you can, GO FOR IT! I may this summer.

@simonfb10 NO, it will hit about 10k RPM (unless going downhill) and then the stock fuel injection will not be able to provide more fuel to go faster. There are things you can do to change that of course.

also peeps dont forget almost all bikes speedos are overclocked so 212 prob more like 195 / 200 KPH in real terms. if you see the the passing of the cars it adds up, most cars on motorways will do average about 90mph no matter what the speed limit of that country is. The rate at which they are being passed says to me that the bikes are doing 30 / 40 MPH faster.

If my maths is right 212KPH is about 130 MPH ish well within the reach of a 650 twin

great looking bike! i have a klx250 right now and i have street tires on it. i just need more pep, i ride a few miles of highway everyday and work is 30 minuets on the interstate. how will this bike do for that? thanks

Love that bike and your video. In Canada we would be popped right in jail for traveling that fast. ! And no more license!!
