Dark Souls Is Gaming Getting to Easy?

Ok so Dark Souls will have most casual gamers crying for a walkthrough after about 10 mins but that brings up an interesting topic of thought, is gaming getting to easy now days?

I gave up on Demon's Souls after weeks and weeks of trying to beat up. I need to revisit the game. I did pick up Dark Souls and I am not up for the challenge yet.

Games are made to hold the hands of gamers now with checkpoints every two seconds because they all get impatient and bitch about it been too hard.

We need more games like Dark Souls that are a actual challenge.

well Jester, I would have to say the hardest game I have played was Demon's Soul. I do agree the games today have gotten easier and easier. In fact I think the fact that games try to hold your hand and coddle you through the whole way is quite annoying and often time I wish I could turn them off so I can figure it out myself. Bottom line, I liked Demon's Soul and I plan to play Dark Souls to get the feel of the old school again.
