I was 11 years old when this came out. Heard it on the radio. Took my allowance down to the record store and bought the 45. Man behind the counter asked if I was sure it was what I wanted. I said yep, he smirked and said ok. Dad heard me playing it. Asked if I knew what it was about. I said yep, he chuckled and said ok.
