Trower, listened to a lot of B.B. King & Hendrix;
Clapton was like a historyian: He played exact quotes from Albert King, Freddie King note for note, but with that nasty psychedelic giant tone. It was very telling to see the recent Clapton/Winwood concert, where they played Hendrix Vodoo Chile, the slower version, and you could plainly hear Claptons unfamiliarity with that style, one that Trower rips to pieces. and vica versa, Trower play Cream songs with Jack Bruce don't sound as good.
Gives me chills! RT still rocks the socks off this 50 yr old babe...love it! Love the Paramounts shot, haven't seen that before. Thank you!

Thank you floridashorti, the Paramounts pictures came from the Procol Harum website. They have sections devoted to the Paramounts & RT.
RT starts his 2008 world tour in 2 weeks right in your back yard. Hope you have your tickets. I have mine for 3/15 at the HOB in Atlantic city. can't wait, hope I can get a decent video from the balcony. I was there in '06, and all I had was my crappy phone cam that only took stills.

Great compilation, TRFY!! And a great tune, too: and it takes something special for RT to do the vocals better than Davey Pattison - one of the best vocalists in rock, a worthy rival to the late and sadly departed James Dewar - in the remake version done recently.
Cheers,
Tony

Thanks Tony (FEB) Great Youtube ID ya have there. Yeah, looking around youtube I noticed a lack of videos featuring the Someday Blues CD. I know he doesn't sing many songs in concert, but I really like this CD. I already uploaded a tribute vid, so I just tweaked it a little and came up with this. Glad you liked it.
