@zzyzxx13 Vic Tayback (Mel of Alice) was indeed in this film. He has been an many many many other films. I saw one (can't recall the title) with him in it but was filmed in the 1950's. He looked so different then.

We all know the two hippies are "Klinger" and "Father Mulcahy" from M*A*S*H, however, another one of the hippies was also "Ernest T. Bass" from The Andy Griffith Show, who also directed the movie.
