@CribNotes I know how you feel. A world without hurdles, triple jump and pole vaulting sounds horrific at first, but I think if we all stick together as a society, we may someday be able to find peace, even without celebrating achievements in redundant sports.

@fraseryoungcomedy We should only have one style of swimming races? So you are saying we should take hurdling out of track and field? Keep the long jump and get rid of the triple jump? Do the high jump and get rid of poll vaulting? Your perfect world sounds pretty boring to me.
