U2 is a hundred times better than Muse, U2 is one of the few that are still playing since the 70's!! They have more singles, albums, trajectory, fame, awards, grammys, fans, Bono is very charismatic.... The thing is that muse is more heavy than U2 and thats what people like right now!! Im not saying that Muse sucks, i like muse a lot, but we have to recognize that U2 rocked the world! and i dont think that Muse will do what U2 did!! Plus, Muse have not gone to latin america yet...

@juanthejunkie My wife and I had seats stage rear, on the first elevated level. Our section was very impressed with Muse, and (other than the latecomers) spent more time enjoying the music than talking with each other. Very high-energy set and excellent setup for U2. I think everyone around us became Muse fans at the show.

The whole concert was amazing. :D I agree though, way too short.
Take A Bow! Epic song! :) That would've been great too!
I love how they incorporate some of those beautiful piano pieces into the songs they perform. They've turned me into a classical music fan. :)
I definitely plan on seeing them again, like a million times. :)

Did anyone film it when Matt said "Hello Georgia" ? Id so love to relive that again. :)

Great Concert. Floor level muse was right up there with U2 when it comes to performance

This whole thing started when I commented on the U2 fans being lame cause they were. Even for U2 they didnt have much energy cause their mostly old people. The guy in front of me brought his 8 year olds for christ's sake. But all is well because Muse is comming back to headline their own extensive US tour in late Feb or March so we wont have to sit quietly in our seats and watch Bono swing from a gay illuminated microphone. And like I give a shit that Obama's sister was in the audience, please

calm down man. chill the fuck out. we get that you like U2. you're not convincing anybody else to be a U2 fan by being a dick about it. A lot of people think that U2 is a bunch of pretentious hippies who are just writing generic alt-rock to keep making money. i'm one of those people. say what you want, but I think Muse are a far more talented band and you going around trumpeting how cool Bono is isn't gonna make anybody listen to the last ten shitty years of their music.
What does this mean? They're both good bands. I enjoyed both parts of the show equally. One does not have to exclude the other. Why not put the negativity aside, discard whatever personal grudges you have against the band, and soak in the music and enjoy it. That's what music is about. Enjoying the experience.

I love the vigor and energy both sides put into this argument; however, i'm finding that it is taking away from good music.
How bout this. Both parties agree that both bands have been a source of a plethora of musical talent for years. I doubt Matt and Bono have debates on who has the better band. They're touring together for goodness sakes. Muse agreed to support U2's tour. This means that Muse at least respects U2 (for their music at least) and U2 must respect Muse's talent to select them.
