If same sex marriage is illegal then heterosexuals and homosexuals both cannot marry the same sex so I do not see this as "gay rights" issue at all.

I support gay marriage but what Perez Hilton did was wrong. In no way was Miss Californias views bigotry. She has a right to her unintelligent views.

Even though I disagree with her, I think she should have a right to say her opinion as long as she's not hating or trying to stop other people from doing what they want. I think there's nothing wrong with gay marriage and if people don't like it then they just shouldn't do it. Just let other people do what they want, is all.

@olddirtydoggy You have freedom of speech. Criticism is not censorship, and the right to free speech has never included any sort of amnesty from social repercussions of an unpopular opinion.

A monogamous relationship is not unhealthy, heterosexual or homosexual. Unprotected dangerous sex can be had with either gender by homo- or heterosexuals. And regardless as to whether or not a homosexual couple is married, they will incur the same health care costs as they would still be in the system regardless of their official relationship status.

"Sexual abuse is the forcing of undesired sexual behavior by one person upon another". Sodomy is not abuse unless undesired.
