This is a great hard drive. It is really the best place to store very important data. I had already read a review of it from solidstateharddrivereview. org/iosafe-solo-2-tb-fireproof­-and-waterproof-external-hard-­drive-sl2000gbusb20-review.htm­l and it says its waterproof and fire resistant and I believe it now. Its also great to hear that the company also offers a data recovery service for free.
