Sia usually includes a rich amount of sarcasm and hyperbole in his work though.

If the joke was about Chinese I could understand the uproar, but it was a comment on the media. Even over in China they're gonna have this unimportant story was her point. But that's not why ye'all offended. No. If she took three months of Chinese first we'd have no problem! I live in Taiwan. A restaurant here was called "Concentration Camp" w/pics of starving/dying Jews. Really swank place for Taiwanese. Please comment on this if you're really such champs of social justice.

Yea, glad it turned out well, but take a look at Sia's other work where he plays a lot of asian steriotypes. Take a look at Criss Rock's,'Who's more racist, whites or blacks'(hysterically funny, btw). What pisses me off about the whole thing is not Rosies stupid joke, and not Sia's beutifully produced counter punch, it's that this whole thing plays into the hands of the neocons and the desprately in need of a pimp sticking right wing talking heads.

Yaaay. I loved the fact that this ended positively, and that people may have gained something from the entire situation. Right on Rosie for taking the time to make this vlog

i really agree with this. talkin it out.

Naah i don't think it's such a big deal. Rosie slipped up, Beau caught her and let her know quite firmly that it's not cool for such a famous face to get away with making such ignorant comments, and she knew she was wrong. end of story

Well said!
i hate how the audience is surprised at its level of offense being compared to the N word you simply never know how sharp the blade is when you're holding the handle.

Why is the audience laughing? New York is supposed to be all united with the events that took place at 9/11. I guess we are not as united as we all think?
