They wrote 90% of their songs. Also now days nobody plays an instrument, unless it's a rock band. Most 80's songs like these had a singer with a backup band.

Why do people think that somethings crap because they don't play instruments???!!The banana's have come up with so many classics.....sing one to someone in the street and they'll know it.

The Banana's and the Spice Girls were huge all around the world.
Yeah they didn't write thier own songs, or play their own instruments.
But they were huge everywhere.
The Bangles were not as big globally for the sane length of time as Bananarama. Nor did they have as many global no. 1's as the Spicey's.
So stick that in your skinny latte, Ms Sindy.
