His wife's death surely affects him. If you've seen the film "Rebel Without a Pause" about him, his wife is revealed to be someone who helps him with his talks and travels, protects him from overexploitation, and insures that he doesn't overwork himself.

Yes I equate Authoritarianism w/ Centralized totalitarian structure, A monarchy "Les Tat Cest Moi" Sun King is such an example of Authoritarianism. Double High Authoritarians R the worst according 2 John Dean's book "Conservatives without conscious and the masses which R unfortunately Authoritarian followers--very bad news!

I mean, really, thank you (Chomsky serves as one of the ultimate compass of lucid thinking when it comes to searching for information about the Americas, specially when it comes to subjects like Chavez, Morales, social movements etc that are treated in the private media here in the same way they are portrayed in the US media).
