my husky doesn't even has a lead, i'm going with her without it, and she has just 1 year old, yes she has the instinct, but she listens to me! she did run away few times, but not too far, and always camed back to me

i let my husky off the lead every day! its a big lie that they must run away! you just need to remember 1 thing: don't try to dominate your dog, be your dog's best friend.

Wow, thats odd, but seriously mate i think you should keep her on her lead for safety, in case she takes a notion of running..
if you lost her you would be so devestated :(
