ok ill fully explain then.. this is her character not her real self so when i asked why she had them it was british humor but it was meant in real terms not terms for her character... therefore she didnt explain why she has them and in any case she explained how she got them and not why she still has them!.. you may be able to understand a little more now!.

There's some additional humor to be found in the provenance of the handcuffs that only you (and other British people) are privy to. Moreover, this hilarity is dependent on the assumption that the handcuffs did not in fact come from the hen party - as Elise stated - but from some other, unknowable circumstance. Please help me to understand why your random conjecture is funny to anyone else but you.
