And yes it is necessary to cut the fur because it will become matted and hard to manage if you dont. Though clippers are better the cats are scared of the sound of them.

Shes not choking that cat. Shes holding her firmly which is how you're suppose to hold the cat otherwise they will run off. I think of she was into mistreating cats noone would be sending there animals to her.

I wouldn cut my cat's hair I'm really scared to do so. Only when the knots are not stucked on the skin anymore I will use the scissors.

Vrikey, I wouldnt dare use scissors, clippers are safer. Is it needed to cut the fur anyway if there not matted.

Whenever my cat hears the scissors snipping. She runs away. Or gets feisty. Sometimes she gets mats. Not anymore, I guess. Because she gets combed often.

If you're planning to buy clippers, make sure it is animal grade (generally $100 minimum). It has higher sustained power output, and you need this because animal hair is more dense than human hair.
