Since my video "Bacon For Batchelors" was such a "hit," I decided a sequel was in order. In this Part, I make the home fries and in Part Three, I finish up with the eggs.

Bon appitite!

Oh, if you didn't catch it, the "secret ingredient" is Lawry's Seasoned salt.

  • Yum. Looked good. Breakfast is my fave meal of the day and is good anytime of day. I attempted to make hash browns once. Failed miserably. :-) I can cook really well, uhhm, except for hash browns it seems, hehe. Was making chicken enchilada's for my parentals and 6 of their friends one night. It ended up being chicken enchilada soup! Got asked for the recipe. I didn't actually know the recipe since when I cook I just look at a picture and make it up as I go along.

  • @stillbellykai What madness possesed you to come and watch this old vid!?

Hash browns are harder. I usually buy them premade. The problem is the water content of the potatos. When you make patties, you have water trapped inside so they cook unevenly.

  • WTF is this CRAP? a guy jabbering and slicing potatoes in slow motion while spelling incorrectly? -1.

  • @christianhcoyle I had an English Prof. in college who demanded that we all use "its" to mean "it is" and "it's" to represent the possessive of "it." In the same spirit, I demand a sensible rendering of the plural form for "potato."

  • @DynaCatlovesme It was just the madness that shows up now and then, lol.

  • I always cook the potatoes down first and then add the onion. also lawrys seasoning salt to salty. Try Onion and garlic powder and a little salt and black pepper cover to softened the potatoes and then remove lid to crisp.

  • Ok.. at 33 sec into the video, it looks like there is a piece of scotch tape on your sweater/long sleeve shirt, near the rip/tear.I'm not saying you said anything..i just noticed what looked like a piece of scotch tape.
