We are BACK. After a long vacation, we are ready to drink beer again. (Actually, our computer has been in the repair shop). This review took place about three weeks ago and I am just now getting it up, the video that is. Anyway, Belgiun Beers are really hard to figure out. You'll never know until you try it. Cheers!!!

  • Had this stuff a few months back and liked it more than the burgandy label. Good to see you guys still keeping the reviews going. Hope to see some good seasonal pumpkin/whatever beers this season. Cheers guys.

  • Yes, I can't wait for the Fall Beers and especially Oktoberfest.

  • This is one the beers that I'm cellaring while I'm away in Texas. Glad to hear that it's a beer worth waiting for. I'll be interested to see if my slightly aged bottle tastes any different.

Sucks your computer was broken. Can't wait to see more of your beer reviews!

  • I'm glad to hear that you're still alive down there!

  • Get the Chimay Red, much better..ABV is not as high....

  • Yes! Stay tuned for the "Red" review. Totally different! Thanks for watching!

  • I'm pretty convinced that she's STONED on top of drunk.

  • You guys are such honest dorks and I mean it in the nicest way.

  • 8:20 probably the funniest moment i've witnessed!

  • HAHA I love how you guys started out sober. Only took 1 belgian beer. Love it.

  • Ok most of the locals here pour at angle to cut down on the yeast flowing into the glass. Aging does improve but still good young. Serve not to cold YTMV "your taste may very" Sad really Chimay is a good starting point but you have 5 more Belgium Trappists beer to review. O come by and we will drive to Belgium and load up the van yea!!!!!

  • It's like drinking a good joint..smooth tasty..does not taste like beer.

  • Now i’m drinking the red. This one is fruity (peach) :) It’s fresh and has a pleasant aftertaste. I like it better than the blue. The blue taste more like a combination of yeast, caramel and a flowernote. Glad I tried the both today. (Still not my favorites) Ah that’s the good life ;) Cheers

  • I’m drinking one right now. Personally i think that chimay is a lesser trappist beer. Not bad off course, but not AWESOME. The rochefort 10 is more my flavor. And off course (not a trappist) the St. Bernardus Abt 12. Cheers from Belgium

  • Nice. I love ya'll! Very complex taste like you say, but also more like a sipping type of beer. Keep rockin' those reviews!

  • cool. spicy. this is on my list of new beers and they are unpasterized bottle conditoned. thats prob. what the sludge its but can add a lot more depth. im starting not to like filtered beers the more i taste these bottle conditioned unfiltered beers.they just have so much more body or something.
