1986 Chevy Truck With Chambered Exhaust

We'll I am it again! After 60+ days with the parents it the hospital Cancer and coma's and Kemo. I just couldn't take the old truck with Turbo mufflers! So now it has 2 1/2" x18" Turbo Tube Chambered Muflers with 3" Dumps after the rear axel! Why? It's LOUD!!!!!! Everyone likes LOUD right? Now I can think about fixing the old girl up! Sorry I haven't been resoponding I'll get around to it later!

I never really got what the difference is between a new V8 and an old V8, new one's sound really quite and weird while the old ones like this sounds kinda like a Harley.

It's the cams. New engins run a LDA ( Lobe Displacement Angle) of 114 degrees or more for the fule injection. The older cams run a shorter LDA like this one with 110 so there is less overlap between the intake and exhaust cycles. Oh yeah, Car companys built cars that where bad ass back in the day. I think alot of people have forgoten what used to be cool.

Engine runs rough at a cold start, I love cold starts! but I hate when someone shows themselves pumping a gas pedal when they are wearing sandals. I hate feet.
