Killer whales are so sweet. Big swimming dogs. I would't want to be their food, but when I'm out of the tank, they're awesome. Haha

  • @punkado68 And it's spelled "HERE little puppy..."

"Hear" is only used when referring to listening, not beckoning.

  • I vividly remembered this incident at Sea World that occurred almost 40 years ago this month and I'll tell you, it was really frightening, watching this woman being attacked by Shamu. I was only ten years old at the time, but this is something I haven't forgotten. My heart was just breaking because she was struggling to get out of the water, but was unable to because Shamu wouldn't let her go. I thought for second that she was going to drown. Let me tell you, it was scary watching this.

  • He is only a calf... (baby)

  • howd u get to get so close to them that if u were able to could touch them i need to know i must do it

  • @ronchiii Thank you. You can read more about Captive BS that goes on here on The Orca Project. Keep spreading the word. Here is a story about Tilikum's lonely life. I've been there many times since this trip and won't stop until there are changes. Google Seeing is Believing - Tilikum's lonely life.

  • @CgColleenGorman That's HORRIBLE! I'm not a fan of captivity when it's for profit and especially when it's done for any other reason other than rehabilitation. What a bummer. It reminds me (when you're describing) of elephants and how badly they do in zoos. I'm going to ask my cousin about the info you gave me.

Thanks so much. I KNOW it comes from a place of compassion, and I'm truely thankful to read your words.

  • @ronchiii - Namu was the first male captured orca - named after the area in B.C. where it happened. He was then dragged behind a boat for 450 MILES while his pod followed crying. (Look it up.) They went to catch him a "mate" from the same area and named her "Shamu" for she-Namu. Namu died within a year, and Shamu didn't live long either. Do a little digging on the history of the exploitation of orcas. You'll never look at them the same in captivity again.

  • Well i think if i was cooped up in a tank for the rest of my life id eat someone. Think outside the box retard.
