The link between Command and Conquer and Lands of Lore was perfect in this game :) (and the reference to Evil Dead with the boom stick). Funny though how they switch between styles in 1-3, with 3 being more humouros, 2 serious and 1 some middle ground.

Lands of Lore II and III are brilliant partly because they were made before political correctness. I was shocked (in a good way) whn in LoL II the cute little girl who was kidnapped was killed! It was strange looking down at her skeleton after seeing her in a cutscene! You wouldn't get that in a modern game, heck, you don;t even get children in modern games!
