Yes that is very true, all you said. I notice while studying scriptures that Christ refers to the prophets a lot and his teachings aligns with the OT. there's so much depth in it. People mostly take the OT as old time stories when Genesis is so amazing if studied right and grasp it's true essence. I had to learn to relate the testaments and it has made understand what God expects of me and the story of my early fathers and why He is God.
When we relegate God to bypass His Word, play the role of a puppet, and start justifying people on prompt, permission, trust, and a cookie, we have joined the circus.
No one gains if the Gospel is preached like this; it denies the Christ.
Washer is confused about the context of "saved" in this video. If he would quit using Sound-Byte Theology, he might find a bit of relief in the context of a true Read.
It's sad to hear a preacher like this playing mythology as reality; the illiteracy factor is so deep that people believe without reason. The Day we return to Scripture and put theater to the side, will be the Day that our minds will work as God intends.
If you ever get a chance to listen to a Rabbi, hear what he says and you will understand what I mean. Most Rabbis explain what they understand, but they will explain a lot of different views of the same thing. Its to makes you think of all the ways God looks at things. There is no one ways is right, God shows each of us what we need at that time.
I think we see the same things, but from different views. What I mostly look for when I listen to people talking about God is how are they seeing what God said from both Old and New Testament? The books were never supposed to be separated, but the church wanted to have a show before and after Jesus. The problem is somewhere people thought it meant to ignore the OT. When Jesus taught, he taught right out of the scriptures in the OT. But he spoke as a man who knew God.
Even with rituals, I practice Shabbat, every Friday night, every week, I do not miss it. But the reason I do it is to get back into alignment with God. Not because as a Jew its what we do. Same a Chanukah, I know the custom, but I also knew the reason why we celibate it. That is more in depth, but everything you do depends on how and why you do it. If you do it because everyone else does, you might as well not spend time doing it. if you do it for God, God knows and see it.
No, I think what a True Christian is, is someone who is trying to follow what God said. Look at Paul when he spoke with the Jews, they were ready to stone him. He knew the Torah and the scriptures, but God didnt call him to take to the Jews. He had an ablity to talk to the Gentiles like no one else. When he did what God said, things went smoothly, when he didnt, people were trying to kill him.
haha, thank you, likewise, our conservations are not random or back in forth refutals. I was actually seeing if we stand on the same grounds and we do. God bless you brother!!!
That's understandable, I'm also successful but you sound very knowledgeable of what you speak of and please don't take me as a Christian because I reject that label a while a go. Christianity is a label and is full of man made rules and is also a religion. My beliefs is not based on patterns or rituals. I have relationship with God and my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and iI take the words out of the bible and write them on my heart but I'm a firm believer God will choke Christianity out of the
