This track is epic. Every instrument is exactly right. Philip Wilson on drums playing where you don't expect it. Dave Sanborn on alto. Butterfield's new band with benevolent overlords managing and producing-Gene Dinwiddie on tenor and arranging. The sound of the horn section is distinctive. Elvin stepped UP! I can't say enough about this album and In My Own Dream. more personnel changes after that but it was still all good. Butterfield forever!

@MalThorgan cool to hear from another harp player, jammed last night and had the audience captivated when I did Sky is Crying!!! Younger audience and it was good to see them getting into some classic blues!

@pepsipoptarts - stop it you guys- now the Bass line is morphing into one of the tracks off "Grease" ! (30 - 45secs & @ 60 secs) !!!!
Just listened to this track about 4 times ......might just play it again !

@BLUESMANRONCHICAGO - don't worry-500 in a month & increasing.
I bought this album not long after its release & it probably influenced me in the harp, but the bass line is one of those simple riffs that sticks. Love Butterfield Blues.

This happens to me all the time. Someone says that a song I love (this one) reminds them of a song I hate (Little Green Bag). The diversity of ears!

Reminds me a little of George Baker,little green bag .Great rhythm and brass .Very full sound

Can't believe only 89 people have listened to this song!! One of Paul's classics, some great harmonica parts, and lyrics are a prime example of what the blues are.
