  • beautiful song Doc.

Loving the voice of salim raza and what a combination beautiful lyrics

and music by great khawaja khurshid anwar

You tube need this song in HD also, [:-})

  • No doubt such type of ghazal turned into filmy gana was trend of that particular era. There are ample examples of hero or heroine belonging to country side singing ghazals instead of maahiya or tappas . What would you say about Laia singing Qateel Shifai's ghazal. In fact there is difference in filmy ghazal( how much literery it may be) and a private ghazal by Mehdi Hassan . I admitt that kh Saahib's music in Mirza Jatt ( of Shahid) had more folk touch and Punjabiat then Mirza Sahiban

  • ok ji, no problem.

  • Waqas Saheb, It was for Dr.Bukhari Saheb.

    Sorry if it looks otherwise.

  • me ki gustaakhi ker ti ???

  • i think kartarsingh also

  • Mirza Saheban never clicked as a film except once in 1967. Now this version of 1957 was made in Urdu and here Mirza is singing a Ghazal. Atleast Icannot digest this. The songs of this film are fairly good but didn't become popular. Incidently, the last film of Khwaja Saheb was again Mirza Saheban. Now in this

film the songs were extraordinary but again

as the film flopped the songs also remained

    less heard.

  • My apology for the belated response.

Khwaja Saheb returned from Bombay in 1953.

Sitamgar of Film Co-operative was the first film for which he recorded six songs in the voice of Salma. The film didn't reach the sets because of 'usual' mishandling of Bank's money by W.Z.Ahmad. As a result the Bank

confiscated the NG. Khwaja Saheb remained

out of work for a year until Dawood Chand came with the offer. Now here is my observation. (contd.)

  • beautiful voice, beautiful song, top class performance .... really enjoyed

  • (In response to "chamogaa's query ) " Sudhir ( Shah Zaman ) the only " Jungjoo Hero o0f sub- continent and inventor of Punjabi style Bharak acted quite well in romantic films also. Some of his films did got appreciation across the border ( India) namely . Sassi, Choti Begum and Dullah Bhatti (Wasta e rab da tun jawein way kabootra )
