The Good Book Says

It needed to be said, and it needs to be repeated. Religious fundamentalists are dangerous and delusional, and when they quote their good books, they need to be challenged, and sometimes they need to be ridiculed. Those of you who claim your religion is one of love and not like those hateful, demented, believers need to join in the condemnation. You need to acknowledge that they, your fellow Christians are not to be respected for their beliefs, for if you say respect such beliefs, if you remain silent, you too are dangerous and delusional.

do you believe in unicorns? no? would you say you had a belief system based around NOT believing in unicorns? no i didn't think so. it's exactly the same thing.

also, there's as much evidence for unicorns as there is for gods, therefore gods can be dismissed just as quickly. it's called using reason, logic and critical thinking.

Just when I thought Christians could go no further, we now have yet another telling us 'We are not to ignore...', God, according to your precious story book, gave mankind free will, that means the right to choose his own beliefs, so why do people like you now tell us what we must believe? That's hardly free will if you are trying to impose your religious doctrine on others! You can't offer free will then put conditions on it, either you have free will or not!

I am an Atheist, and I believe that Atheism means the lack of, or choice not to believe in any kind of religion, deity, or heavenly being! That's how I understand it, though some people may have other views!
