Xbox 360 and PC on Digimate

Demonstration of how the Digimate L2442W handles switching between the DVI-D input and the analog VGA input. The display can switch between different resolutions of different inputs without issues.

The monitor was purchased from Overclockers UK.

Did you use separate speakers or are you able to use the built-in speakers?

I used a separate 5.1 surround sound system using the optical SPDIF output connection on the Xbox. The built in speakers aren't much good.

Your gonna red ring your xbox for sure mate, move it to somewhere with more venting, also, its a good idea to put a stand up fan facing it. Trust me the 3 rings of death are most upsetting, had it happen to me so I brought a 360 elite.

It was only on the shelf to test the VGA cable with the display, I sold the Xbox months ago, I own a PS3 now.

dude how the heck did u do that? where did u buy the adapter thing and how much?

I just used the Official VGA cable which costs about £15 and hooked it up to the VGA port on my display. If your display has a DVI-D port and you have an Xbox 360 with a HDMI port then you can use a HDMI to DVI cable.

hmm, i'm having some issues running xbox 360 through the vga port of my monitor. There seems to be...well i find it hard to explain...kinda like a ghost of the image slighty to the right. For example if u open the xbox menu which is says ''quick launch'' theres a faint 'h' next to the last letter of launch

It's the '+' (rightmost) button on the screen which switches between VGA and DVI inputs on the display.

thats too bad. ps3 is so much worse than the 360...the internet might be free but you have better service with xbox and a better gaming veriety....i stick to pc gaming now actually...
