Mike Brenner's new album "Vignettes" is now available on iTunes!!

Here I'm doing my rendition of the instrumental outro of The Music Never Stopped from the Sportatorium Pembroke Pines, Florida Concert on May 22, 1977 performed by the Grateful Dead. I use a looper pedal to replay guitar parts. By posting this video I intend for people to benefit from this song in that they will pursue the original version of the song and experience it, because what I do here doesn't nearly come close. At best it can only be accredited as being an interpretation of something great. If you want to check out some of my original stuff there are other videos posted or check

  • wow awesome cover! i wish i could get up the neck like that on acoustic. gotta look at some of your originals after watching that.

  • nicely done..... and the delay thingy kept playin' on. was it ever there at all???

  • excellent. i also agree with your comments in the "info" part...to search out the original etc., and anyone who plays a dead tune i think would also agree with you. that's the beauty of music, it brings people together without ever meeting, thanks from the like-minded.

  • good work -keep it up (the world needs a new jg and who knows ;-)

(can you increase the gain -a bit too low i believe)
