@Guamkomudo I totally agree with u, when i started martial arts i use to be terrified of board breaking after years of doing it, it becomes routine and even if u hit the board hard as hell and dont break it, its like w.e jss do it again, pain is not the issue what im "scared" of is if i dont break it first try

It's not a waste of time... Pretty much everyone can physically break a brick, or kick through a baseball bat with their shin. It's physically possible, the only problem is, that people are not mentally ready to smash their shin into something they see as very hard and will hurt alot. Breaking, is NOT for looking badass like Oh I can break this, I'm so strong! Western culture thinks this way, they want to SEE it. But it's actually will you alow yourself mentally to do it, not you're strong.

I dunno, usually breaks are just used when testing skill, not training. Plus, your skills might be nicer without breaks but there'd be no good way to test your power.

Although watching people break boards with their hands and feet is really cool to see, its such a waste of time. Think of how much more your skills could be improved in training and practicing techniques if you had all the time back that you took practicing breaking boards.
