i just got back from hike this r part of it the idea was to go all the wa aroud but my dad ripped is arm out of his socket and hurrt his knee bad so we left about 50 miles in to it but it was very pretty to see what we did see so i will return in a few years to do it agian and make it all the way around there is also still a lot of snow from box canyon on we were a week or to early and the snow would have been gone by then

Great pictures. I went through a few days after you and got poured on from Mowich clockwise back to Longmire, so it was nice to see what the rest of the views looked like.

what were the dates of your hike? i hiked from longmire to mowich lake aug 7-10, 2009. it was cloudy and i didn't get the clear views you got. we saw a bear about a mile south of golden lakes.

we hiked aug 24 - sept 1, and had pretty good weather. the bear we saw was about a mile south of n. pallylup.
