I have heard many great Irish ballad singers but none come close to Paddy Reilly. He is the greatest.

There are many great Irish Folk Legends, each of whom deserve the fame.
I personally think that with all respect to the great Luke Kelly (who is 1b on my list), Paddy Reilly has the best voice for these kind of ballads. That's like deciding whether you'd rather have platinum or diamonds, mind you...a blessed problem.

yeah, i think it might have been due to ill health he cancelled, but since then i've heard nothing of him or how he's doing, i've tried to find out but with no luck.... i hope he's well though! He is indeed wonderfull :)
