Indeed it sounds like Chopin

+1 for creativity, glueing sheet music to the ceiling, nice idea, enough space for it there =)

@oceanpout88 According to my research Brody studied how to play this Chopin to play in this film but Im not sure if he actually played this ballad.Well he definitely played the parts were we can see him full playing it,otherwise it was polish pianist Janusz Olejniczak that specialises in interpretation of Chopins music&played all the solos throughout the film.Whoever played this piece in the film did a perfect job!!Szpilman didnt play for 3/4 yrs,he was cold&was starving, piano was off-tune..so?

Este es un típico huevon exibicionista, el piano se toca con las manos, ese histrionismo no vale la pena. Hace lo mismo que muchos directores de orquestas. Mucha parafernalia.

I don't hear any error

I would like to thank Roman Polanski for including this in "The Pianist". I would never searched for this otherwise. How beautiful! Did Adrian Brody actually play this peice (albeit abbreviated) in the movie? If so, no one should critize his playing (as far as I know he's not a trained pianest). God bless Wilm Hosenfeld (the German Officer, not Gestapo, as the ignorant have implied) for allowing Szpliman to survive. Hosenfeld is now recognized by Israel as a decent man, like Schindler.

@oceanpout88 in order to film the movie scene, Brody learned how to play enough of the piece to look like he was playing it, and then the piano part was played by a professional pianist and voiced over. And how could it not be included? its an important part of Szpilman's time in Warsaw during the war. It was a true story, incredibly.
