@4crevis I know you've been replied to already, but check out jaylenosgarage -dot- com. He's got several vids of this car being built, to include some details of the powerplant and custom-engineered drivetrain components (in addition to a ton of other awesome vids, covering his entire collection). The entire car is a work of art and incredible engineering!
You are clearly much more knowledgeable than I... thanks for the comment/correction/explaination... That does make a lot more sense now... I was thinking thrust instead of torque! Thank you kind sir... or lady!

@4crevis Explain 2 me what part of a jet engine has a drivetriain? jet engine??? it's clearly a Turboshaft (helicopter) since they mainly produce shaft hp/torque, since Turbojet/Turbofans produce thrust. U seen the shaft that rotates that's conneted 2 the rotor head and & drives the helicopters blades, now if u connect that shaft to a trans (gears) to swivel that torque 2 the wheels HUALA!!!
IT'S A FAKE! I don't think the jet engine (If it's real!) actually drives the car, thats probably done by a regular petrol engine! The jet noise is just there as a sound effect! Are there any video's actually showing the drivetrain?!
quit it jay. your making chick norris mad!

Cool turbine runs on biodiesel. I wish I could show Jay my google sci vid and he could make the ecojet really live up to its name.
Watch and see what u think.
