First "proper" hit my ass. "Welcome to Paradise" and "Longview" were badass songs too. This song was amazing but still not their first "proper" hit.

i love this song it was like one of the first greenday songs i liked, and now i am addicted to them. I saw them in concert twice and yes they were amazing live. Without their music the world would not understand what the true meaning of music is. They are Gods and were sent down to earth to entertain the whole world.

green day was amazing back in the day but they definitaly got worse. american idiot was terrible. 21st century breakdown was a little better but dookie was easily the best. billie joe armstrong isnt the best guitarist but mike dirnt is an amazing bassist (listen to welcome to paradise) and tre cool is an amazing drummer.
