My 2000 LX Sedan looks nothing like that. It has a piece of foam glued to a piece of sheet metal under the triangle panel.

Great video, thanks. A couple minor issues. My 2002 Ford Focus had one 10mm screw inside (not 13mm) and a Torx-20 screw on the inside at the leading edge of the front of the mirror. Other than that, easy ... ten minutes or less with the right tools.

@jmacias4 If you have one of those telescoping magnets you might be able to phish it out of the door that way.
