@jeffmt268426 It's a game that very few people can get close to perfection. Sports are a way of people competing to see who is more dominant than the other as well as entertainment of the mind. And certain people take it serious because they might have had an impacting moment in their life where basketball revolved around. Also, fans appreciate their presence because they are very skilled and talented at what they do. The same argument can be made for Celebrities or YOUR here. Same concept.

I don't see how the world raps themselves around these individuals as if they are gods and parade around in place of their glory.
