yeah i agree with u, phil was the best im a massive fan of his but scoops was a legend u have to admit that, but i think paul was the best all round contender of all time!!
In the end Paul only lost by a couple of seconds, and obviously he slowed a bit at the end when it was apparent he wasn't going to win. It's fair to say that the time he was out of powerball (over ten seconds; maybe 2-3 baskets) and perhaps 3-4 seconds slower on the handbike and net makes up 6-7 seconds in total, enough for Paul to have won. Wesley was an excellent competitor, but as with the semifinal, he was fortunate, and on another day he would have lost.
not true, on the beem two scoops was faster... and when phil started the travelator, two scoops was a split second behind and was going faster. he would of over taken him. its happend before on gladiators, do your homework. As for paul, his ribs were "bruised" which is what a doc would say if he found nothing wrong.
Sorry bud, that's just plain wrong. Phil was very fast, and he had enough of a lead going up the travelator that he would clearly have won. Wesley wasn't actually that fast up the travelator; he slowed down near the top and he stumbled at the top - if Phil had gone up the travelator as fast as he did in every other episode he was in, he'd have won. Wesley got lucky on the day, end of story.
Why don't you just say if Phil ran the eliminator in record time, he would've won? Fact is, Scoops ran this eliminator in 50 seconds, which set the record Scoops would eventually break a couple years later. Phil lost because he ran out of gas by the balance beam, and the other guy ran in record time. Bad combination.
Er, and a doc would say Paul's ribs were "bruised" because they were bruised.....or do you think it was a cunning tactical ploy by Paul to lie on the ground in pretend-agony for several seconds while Wesley scored points on Powerball? You're displaying all the intelligence of your hero's post-Gladiators career choices.
he was losing on points before it happend is what im saying.... so two scoops would of beaten him on that event anyway... and then paul got full point on duel... so the ribs didnt change anything. He went just as fast as he usually does in the eliminator too... two scoops was the better man. Paul was a greedy selfish man, thats why his wife was PROPER gutted he didnt win likewise for him. Two scoops was better.
Why do you keep making these wild accusations about Paul? First you think he was faking (till I pointed out he lost several points by lying on the ground for ten seconds in powerball); now you call him "greedy and selfish"?! You don't know anything about him! He would have scored another 2 or 3 baskets in that time, so there's the 2-3 seconds in the eliminator right there. Plus his injury would have slowed him marginally on the handbike and net; not much, but enough to make the difference.
