Key H-Game "Kanon" Opening Movie: Last Regrets

For some reason, Fraps does not seem to be capturing the Galaxy Angel Moonlit Lovers or Galaxy Angel Eternal Lovers cutscenes. While I attempt to discover the problem, let me make it up to you all by posting a couple of videoclips from Japanese videogames (no, I do not have them myself).

Hm... I'm not sure an h-game version of Kanon is necessary or even a good idea. All the girls were so innocent and cute that it seems almost sacrilege.

Except the game was ORIGINALLY an H-Game back when it was released in 1999. It was re-released as an all-ages version after the story proved surprisingly popular past the creators' wildest expectations.

So when exactly does this opening song really play in the game? Because I've only heard of the BGM "morning shadows" playing during the opening...

It SHOULD play shortly after the opening scene in which Yuuichi, sitting on a bench at the train station, is discovered by Nayuki and he finally remembers her name.

I honestly can't believe series like Kanon and Air first were introduced as Hentai games, and now totally kick ass in every aspect. Such sad and beautiful series...the both of them.

I played the visual novel and was very disturbed by Makoto's route... I was playing the H-version...

@whoo689 well ...... the h game came out yeeeeaaaaaaaaars ago. THe anime was made from the h game ( visual novel)

I'm just going to though out there that quite a few anime originate as H-games. Most anything from KEY (Air, Kanon, etc.) and Type-Moon (Fate/Stay Night, Tsukihime) for example.

When such visual novels become popular the company that created them will, of course, want to cash in on the popularity. Normally by creating a non-H version of the game allowing for a broader audience. Should that go well, they can make more money by creating an anime based on the non-H version of the game.

@whoo689 I thought Kanon was just another awesome KEY anime and then I read about it being a H-game and I never thought it would be a H-game for the same reason you said.
