This is a video tour of my latest FPV build on a $59 Chinese foamy airplane known as the "Cloud Fly" or the "Floater Jet" depending on what mood their in that day.

I'm running a 900mhz transmitter powered by a 3s 500mah lipo on the airframe with a home built antenna on both the Tx and Rx. Both were built on designs I found on http://www.rc-cam.com/

  • Best setup i seen for AXN..

Could you tell me where is the COG with this equipment and how you control the rudder? thanks in advance

  • @gc9n With the video transmitter and battery in the rear, the CG is at the factory location. The rudder is controlled the same way it was from the factory, I'm just using a 9 channel rx

  • what an ugly and big pan/tilt setup

  • @wallaguest1 Thanks, I appreciate the kind works. There was a purpose to the size. It allowed me to look over the side of the airframe down at the ground below while in level flight.

  • Hello my friend, you made it very cool! I will start building a plane like yours and i need to know what battery is the max that i can add for the motor. What is the maximum time you can fly and what is your current setup? I will add an OSD too and i need to know how big can the two batteries be! Thanks and have good landings :D

  • thats one weird looking antenna on the transmitter! i assume you made it : ) what the idea of how it works? and the patch antenna for the receiver very cool! i would love to see some how to videos.

  • 3 Questions for you!

1.You hot glue the TX into the Plane body?

    2.Whats the camera?

3.You use 6 servos and you handle them with 1 ESC ,(Stock ESC)? or you use a bec or something?

    Thanks
