  • How funny that Obama is elected on "change" and yet all his appointments are nothing more than Washington insiders.

The new Treasury Sec. was the head of the NY Fed. Reserve. This is like giving a drug addict the key to a pharmacy and the green light to go.

    We are screwed.

  • Robert Rubin and Larry Summers from the Clinton- Secretaries of Treasury under Clinton. They are among the people who are substantially responsible for this economic crisis. Selecting them is like selecting Osama Bin Laden to run the war on terror.

    Good Picks Obama!

  • @PavedStones Your remark was 9 months ago, so in retrospect, how has Obama's plan worked?

Government has never and will never be able to create prosperity, it can only at best facilitate it.

  • @PavedStones i have a question for you, How do you create a job?

  • @reapstreet54

Stop scapegoating "the Jews" for all for your problems.

  • "Mr. Obama's idea we can rebuild the economy via goverment is a facist idea"

This isn't mr. Obama's idea, it's an old idea that works very well, e.g. after WW2 most of Europe was a field of ruins, and these countries adopted semi-socialist systems that made go from fields of ruin to most developed countries in the world in the blink of an eye.

And stop throwing around the word fascism all the time, it's childish and retarded. You have no idea what fascism is.

  • ...(e.g. computers, the internet and all that came out of the Pentagon, satellites (and thus everything to do with mobile phones, GPS, etc) came out of the NASA, etc, etc). Efficient and healthy development typically comes from mixed economies with sound public policies geared towards generating equalitarian growth, technological innovation and social welfare to ensure good living standards for all the citizens.

"Remember kids, economic growth has always been based around the private sector's abillity to break free from the grips of goverment taxation and regulation."

Actually, all developed countries so far have developed through mixed economies, including the USA which industrialized through extreme protectionist policies and now has had it's largely state-run high-tech industry leading the world for several decades

  • are you stupid? You can blame Americans. More people spend more time discussion American Idol judge decisions or spend time finding other peoples creative work to post to their facebook pages to show their individuality. This country is said and the people are pathetic. Fuck Obama, Die Obama, I'll see the FEDs at my house. Your wife is tool and Obama is a puppet figure. The blacks are keeping racism alive.

  • You can't blame the American people for wanting change and believing Obama. Its Obama, in the light of his current policies, who betrayed the people's trust. Still, the American public should not be discouraged from continuing to fight for genuine freedom and democracy.
