Haitians - We Demand Equal Treatment For Haitian Immigrants

Department of Homeland Security continues to VIOLATE U.S. Immigration laws by giving Unequal Treatment to Haitian Immigrants- returning Haitian refugees right back to Haiti without affording them a hearing. CUBAN REFUGEES are given fair treatment; are NOT placed in Detainee Camps and jailed for years. Once a CUBAN REFUGEE'S feet gets off of their boat and onto the U.S. soil- they are given a quick hearing and granted Asylum. CUBAN ADVOCATES have now joined fellow Haitian Advocates to resolve this unjust differential treatment by the U.S. government and I.C.E.

I truly appreciate the response from the Obama administration, the heads of other countries, kind individuals, and corporations which responded. Haitians will never forget! The Cuban adjustment act was created during the cold war as a result of communism in Cuba. In Cuba you can't vote, food is rationed, there no freedom of speach....This is not a issue of Racism as Afro-Cubans recieve the same treatment as whtie Cubans......Haiti has TPS now b/c of the earth quake.....if the USA were to let immigratn seek asylum based on economic reasons, then all immigrants will come to the USA.
