@harwoodpodcast ok thanks ! and i will . but just wondering is there like a subsitute i can use besides baking soda ?
-
@YourColorfulZebra235 In this recipe, the baking soda is working with the buttermilk to make the cakes rise. It would be best to wait on these until you can get some baking soda :) - Cindy

@nkr1695 No you can't because the buttermilk mixes with the baking soda to make them rise. But you can make your own buttermilk in about 5 minutes! Go to our YouTube channel and watch "Cindy's VFFs 6-21-11." On that vlog I show everyone how to make buttermilk that they can use in my recipes. It's super easy. -Cindy

do you need to sift the dry ingredients?
pixiefishmusic 6 months ago
@pixiefishmusic You can if you'd like, but I find that just whisking the dry ingredients together works fine! Much easier and no sifter to then keep clean :) -Cindy

@SilverLuvIncx You can find the cocoa powder in the baking asile and the containers I use come from Ace Mart Restaurant Supply. You can find them online. -Cindy
