the f150 ecoboost is advertised to get 31 mpg. my 2011 f150 fx4 with 373 gears and an ecoboost engine, shown getting 14 mpg instant. i had been taking it real easy to get maximize my fuel mileage and had an average of 14mpg. when i reset it, it was right around there as well. the dash shows i was on a level road, not going up a hill. cruise control locked in at 100km/h

  • @eman461 its kilometers dude

  • Turbos don't like the cold that much! What was the temperature? If you're using km/h then I'm guessing Canada and guessing cold

  • @rafajr1966 wrong way around. a kilometer is .62 miles. look it up

  • If your truck is in km/h then I'm going to guess that the reading it is giving you is km per liter... which magically turns out to be 32 mpg! Wow! Isn't math fun!

  • @boblarson22 Correct, also the winter fuel blend itself is not good for mileage.

  • Where did you purchase the truck? I ask because I see km/h rather than mi/h. The US uses EPA Standardized testing which states 21 mpg for this truck. Also, cold weather and winter fuel will lower your mpg. I get better than what it is rated for.

  • You guys are all idiots. In the video he clearly said 100 KM/H which is about 60 miles an hour...ALSO THE SPEEDO GOES TO 200. Km/h look before you all start talking

  • @eman461 Haha, I think a lot of people here failed to realize that he's doing 100. I don't know of a single engine that gets good mpg while going that fast.

  • your not gonna get 20 miles to the gallon doing 100 miles per hour what did you expect ??

  • hentree56 is right about your tires. I have a 2011 f150 ecoboost and when it's cold out, like winter time, you don't get the same mileage as you do in the summertime. That would be the same with any vehicle. Also my sticker said 21 hwy not 31. Besides all that you have a warranty don't you. Take it in and have Ford check it out.
